Im 13 And Got A Brazilian

wedding season

I was lucky to witness now the same on two consecutive weekends, the opportunity weddings and appropriately This time it was a purely Christian and a purely Hindu wedding. I can as a stranger the same time the attempt of a comparison. One thing first: if you think the Hindu wedding was an arranged by the families and the Christian love here what you call marriage is totally wrong, because it was the other way around. But in no way means that the Christian had a couple unfortunate that the prejudiced Westerners might think critically.

exciting way, here in India I once Christianity is of a very different, very experienced many creditors side, which perhaps best illustrated by the following sentence: "I trust Jesus to the right man to find me. "That said, recently a colleague of mine, whose parents just to groom search were. Meanwhile, the man found them accordingly excited and nervous. Whatever the choice arose, I wish her that she also reserves in many years this faith in Jesus and will not be disappointed

But back to the weddings.. in terms of opulence gave themselves two at least nothing more than a detail I could tell. the Hindu wedding was a total of brightly colored in shades A Comparison of the stages:

top followed the (Christian) couple on the way to center stage of two little bridesmaids and already eagerly anticipated by the photographer, probably at the bottom of every typical Indian wedding photo on the common queue for a bit more garish stage. Incidentally, I find something both according to much, but the occasion beautifully.

If I even get married by the way, then I do not want them stand on stage and my feet are flat. Better to be a huge group photo and then celebrate together. It was celebrated in the way of the Hindu wedding with more vigor: two hours before the arrival at the site of the celebrations, which is really just waiting in the photo and buffet dinner there, a group made of about a hundred people, with the groom on a showy horse perched on the way, accompanied by an orchestra, all wild dancing. The move paves the way here just through the traffic jam and all must make room. Between each piece of music that the orchestra plays, you move forward a few yards and although the venue from the beginning is in sight, you can be pretty long time before you arrive. Besides, there are powerful fireworks (so extremely loud as I've previously reported once). And the interesting thing is: this is not only fun, but there is also a symbolism behind it all. Given that the bride with the wedding less in the budget of the family of the groom on the wedding will occur as a staged robbery, in which the groom, accompanied by his friends and family haunts the bride's family to wrest her beloved daughter. The fireworks and the loud drum music should be understood in advance before: respect, we come from. And until the arrival of the groom is sitting with a very strict and sublime expression on his coach. Before he left the coach to meet the families and dance again like mad with each other, the young men leave the pig out in wild ecstasy. If the groom then leaves the coach, it forms a street of people before him, he must cross, but what made him hard. Finally, may He then to the fixed site and all can eat enough, and recently, in fact no meat or eggs and without accompanying alcohol. Here are a few photos of the whole:

So, and as a little funny conclusion, there are now two more cool pics from the land of nothing-is-impossible ... I hope as many of you understand what is so funny: the first is a campaign poster and the second a side note on the menu of a restaurant ... Laughter is healthy.

Bath Mat With No Sucion Cups

Friends and Festivals

The everyday is the infamous writer's block. What am I supposed to tell when so much here now quite normal for me. My new roommate David of Wales has asked me a few days whether I have the impression that they have lost a part of my compassion, not because I was so heartless appeared, but because he is in the first few days but already made to create to do the begging children and cripples and this extreme class society. And yes, the question was justified, for all that now I feel less warmly than ever to start. I think one of the main reasons why I sometimes feel less sympathy, is that unfortunately many people here do just as if they were starving to death just before and just because it works continuously play the sympathy card. As a tourist, the Misery sometimes shamelessly played that it's disgusting. Compassion is a good thing, what we feel people, so we help each other, but really want to enforce compassion is only benefit to themselves of it for me very, very immoral and I was disappointed in me than this ubiquitous practice was so clear.

Does this mean yet that all this does not matter to me and I got a heart of ice. No. I've just decided to give away any money, but now and then, if the situation allows, to give away food or beverages, mostly to small children. The best thing you can do here else is to get involved in social projects, which abound here are: English classes for slum children and excursions with the blind. Some of the other interns through their internships are directly involved in such projects and I find that admirable.

has for me been happening in recent weeks not many great and I feel good, even when I'm at work often unmotivated and listless am because there as a lot only a very slow rate (more details should I here of the secrecy's sake is not ) mention. I will not even write much here, but represent only pure again a few more pictures for you and say: I'm fine. I miss you all And we had two weeks ago, 41 degrees Celsius in the shade on the thermometer (at 70-90% humidity)! I wanted to show off only once, what a Extremstklima I have to endure now used; D

So here are some pictures:

On the bottom picture you see next to me down the right Andres from Spain which we affectionately call "macho" what he is. stands slightly hunched over Andres Ka Südkoreo from, but which is now moved into our neighbor's apartment, because her in our house in the evening too long something was going on. Marcus is at the top right to see from the USA, who will leave in a week, unfortunately, and next to him David of Wales, who will take his bed, and has actually done so, because Marcus's last Weeks traveling around savored. Top left, that is Vinicius from Brazil (my room mate) and Keiko from Japan. Incidentally, we have constant turnover and roommate in three months, I have determined already but not other roommate. There is a constant coming and going, which is both sad whenever cool people return home, on the other hand, is always nice because you get to know new nice people. It keeps the balance.
"Here are pictures of our TCS Global Village. AIESEC Global Village is a tradition, a celebration of all foreigners have a booth where they go about their own country present, gift information and offer typical food and drinks. To make the internship program at TCS known, we have held such a global village, but in a much larger context, with 1100 visitors and have to still put down a Bollywood dance performance that way, I most have been taught (we belonged to a dance teacher get first presented have), and of course there were some cool music from around the world and who was probably the DJ? Well, you know. Also, I had the honor of a Germany still hold presentation to the 1100 people, which has somehow sensed weight. An happiness I have enough experience to rumzustottern not fright and of course I had the audience urged the purchase German cars; D
And finally a photo of the apartment complex where I dwell. So far I've only images from the surrounding slums published. If you then suddenly on the patio in front of the fountain is pure and then walked into the lobby of the building with marble floors and Imititat sees the mirrored elevators, is this is like the wrong film. Our house is actually really cool, just our body's just barren and overcrowded apartment. What the heck. Front of the entrance to the residential complex denounces a banner over the street bearing the words "Sagar City. Your home proud," and so it is somehow. If someone asks where I live, I say proudly, "In Andheri West in Sagar City. So come visit me ...

Cheerio!
